Final two team names announced

The Bears announced today that former Bears player and last season’s hitting coach Matt Stuart will return for the 2020 summer.

On Wednesday, October 4th the Highline Bears are excited to announce the signing of new assistant coach Gavin Hite for the 2018 summer season.

On Wednesday, September 13 Highline Bears Manager Josh Evans signed a new contract through the 2018 summer season. Evans will be the Bears first two year manager the team has had since it’s inception in 2014.

Festivities abounded the night the Highline Bears beat the Northwest Honkers, 4-1, in their season finale Friday, including the induction of four White Center personalities into the team’s new Hall of Fame.t year.”

The semi-pro Highline Bears baseball team launched its second season at Steve Cox Memorial Park in grand fashion Saturday night, downing the Langley Blaze 10-0 to give manager Rich Lindros a big win in his debut.

Strains of Sheryl Crow’s “Soak Up The Sun” echo through the covered grandstands as shadows creep across the field at Steve Cox Memorial Park in White Center.

In the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s, White Center Stadium (now Steve Cox Memorial Park) was the home of men’s semi-professional baseball and professional fast pitch softball teams.
