The Highline Bears baseball organization is a summer collegiate team in the Pacific International League.
In the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s White Center Stadium was the home of men’s semi-professional baseball and professional fast pitch softball teams. Several hundred adults, kids and families would fill the stands and sit along the side fences watching a high level of baseball under the lights on Friday and Saturday nights. Our goal is to bring back a high level of baseball to Steve Cox Memorial Park in a way that it hasn’t seen in 30 years.
The Highline Bears are a community oriented team, working with non-profit groups like the White Center Food Bank, South West Little League, Kiwanis Club, the team helps raise funds through partnership ticket sales and a 50/50 raffle every game. The Highline Bears are involved in community events such as Jubilee Day’s, The Waterland Festival and offering free baseball clinics for local youth baseball players.
